6th-8th Grade Classes are for children ages 11-13 years old.
The classes offered are to enrich, engage, and help your children to grow and develop into Christ-following individuals. The love of Christ is shown to all the children in these classes. We are here to help your children develop life skills that they can take with them into adult hood, in a safe and loving environment.
Heroes of History
Ages: 9-14
Teacher: Gina Brady
Class Time: 9:00 am
4-8 Combined class
Heroes of History will focus on the lives and achievements of influential figures who have shaped history. We will learn about faith-based heroes and heroes who have shaped the world as we know it. Students will learn through biographical lectures, discussions and various activities. Students will need to bring a folder, pen or pencil and paper. I will be providing them with handouts and other materials but there will be no work outside of class. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone in the fall.
Drawing Class
Ages: 9-14
Teacher: Lisa Cashman
Class Time: 10:00 am
4-8 Combined class
Students will explore the fun world of drawing using basic artist pencils and a variety of methods. While natural skill may vary, the goal is for every student to finish the course with confidence in their ability to draw.
Basic artist pencils and drawing paper will be available. However, if students have their own drawing pencil set, they are welcome to bring them. It is also recommended each student bring their own spiral-bound drawing sketch book as it is nice for them to have their own collection all in one place. Affordable recommendations will be sent via email after registration.

Pickleball
Ages: 9-14
Teacher: Shannon Kim
Class Time: 11:00 am
4-8 Combined Class
Emphasizing movement, fresh air and friendly competition, kids will learn the basics of how to play PickleBall, with plenty of opportunities to practice and play against each other. We will walk to the Pickle Ball courts at nearby Oriole Park. If it rains, we’ll be in the gym. Balls will be supplied and, if helpful, your paddles can be stored at the church if you don’t want to bring them each week.
Please purchase/bring your own Pickleball paddle to class with names on them. These may be purchased starting at around $15 on Amazon.
