6th-8th Grade Classes

6th-8th Grade Classes are for children ages 11-13 years old.

The classes offered are to enrich, engage, and help your children to grow and develop into Christ-following individuals. The love of Christ is shown to all the children in these classes. We are here to help your children develop life skills that they can take with them into adult hood, in a safe and loving environment.

Gym

Ages: 9-14 years old

Combined Class

This course will include physical fitness skills with a personal improvement plan. Each class will end with games that incorporate their fitness skills.

Inspiring People in History

Ages:11-14 years old

Teacher: Sandi Perez

Class Time: 10:00 Am

In this class we will learn about different men and women who have created, accomplished and sacrificed throughout history. We will discuss and experiment/create in order to learn more about these interesting people and how they have contributed to the world.

Geography

Ages: 11-14 years old

Teacher: Jill Guidone

Class Time: 11:00 Am

CLASS FEES: 20.00 per student

REQUIRED: World Atlas

Throughout the year, students will map all continents including labelling longitude and latitude lines, and physical and political features. They will receive a set of colorful double-sided maps that they will store at Cubs from week to week and bring home at the end of each semester once they have completed them. The class will include the map set and fine markers in four colors to do the mapping.

This is a TWO SEMESTER class.
